Okay guys, I took some of your advice, and tried another method. Like the character sheet and interview. I mixed a bit of each and came up with something else. I felt like I'm taking a step forward, but I'm not sure if I'm correct. Below is a short sample of what I wrote when I mixed together. Physical appearance: Question:Let's start with your age, how old are you? "I'm ten years old...or least I'm going to hit ten years old in a two weeks’ time, so I guess I'm technically only 9 years old at the moment. Consider me ten though; I think it makes me sound more adult." Question:Okay...I don't think that sounds more adult but moving on, did anyone ever tell you that you an interesting eye colour: "Emerald green is rare I know. I don't know how I got it, but it's always been like this for me. Originally I would have liked it to be blue, but my mom says that green gives me a greater sense of variety." Question:You certain do have interesting hair. It's blonde, thin and yet smooth. It varies quite differently from most kids your age. "Strawberry blonde to be exact. Most of the kids like to pull on my hair whenever I have my back turn, they thinking that the darker shade seems to make my hair more feminine. And for the record, I can't dye it because I don't even have enough money to do so." Something like this. I made a lot longer, but I didn't want to bore others, but rather do you think this is any better than just writing it out? I feel it is, but I could use other's advice as well.
